Jan. 20, 2013 – It was so windy today that I saw parts of Wilma that should never be uncovered. Do you believe that she then had the nerve to turn around and peck me in the back of the head for staring? What was I to do? It’s not like I planned to have the image of her aging egg chute emblazoned in my mind. Her tail feathers blew up and over her head. My wattle slapped me in the face. It’s called wind, Wilma! Deal with it!
