Feb. 23, 2013 – It is 7:00pm on Saturday and I am just now settling in for the night. Today was a day of quiet reflection as I spent three hours looking at myself in the mirror that Mom propped up in our run. I never realized how strikingly beautiful I am. Someone reading this entry might think me to be a narcissist, but I assure you I am not; for I see all of my flockmates equally as lovely. Though – as I look around the coop tonight, perhaps my earlier deduction was a bit premature. Wilma has her comb up in curlers, Sawyer has night cream smeared all over her face, and I am in my flannel cupcake pajamas. Aaahhh – who am I kidding? We’re not beautiful… we’re gorgeous!
