Mar. 30, 2013 – I was reading this month’s edition of PEOPLE Magazine, when it hit me that humans really do come in all sorts of shapes, sizes and colors – just like chickens. Straight hair, frizzled hair, and no hair at all… light skin, dark skin… they are all so wonderful. And their babies… who can resist?! Does it matter if they are tall, short, plump, thin, funny, serious, born to lead, or born to follow? For all of these differences, they ebb and flow the same. Their hearts beat in rhythm. If chickens could keep a flock of humans, I would want one of every type and style. After all, it’s variety that turns a bunch of flowers into a brilliant bouquet. (Wow. That yogurt I’ve been eating lately must be dazzling my brain.) Oh! I also ate some sort of flying bug today. It was a little bitter, but good.
