Apr. 22, 2013–It was a fairly quiet day, here in the chicken yard. Everyone went about their business with little fanfare. A robin stopped by to ask for directions. She was hooking up with her childhood friends for a little reunion, but hadn’t been back in our yard since she left the nest last year. I pointed out the tree that I thought she was looking for and then, I helped Sawyer remove a pine shaving from her …. Well, the location doesn’t really matter. Right now, I’m eating a strawberry that Mom gave me as I relax in my folding chair with my journal. Life is peaceful today. I like that.
