August 2, 2013– I spent time today with our four little ones in the garage. Two more weeks and they’ll be sharing Coop #3 with Waffles and the girls. I can only imagine the shenanigans that will take place when that happens! I asked the chicks what they might like to do when they get older. “You mean besides laying eggs?” Dolly questioned, as if that’s all there is to a hen’s life. “Yes, of course!” I chuckled. “I think I’d like to be a detective and catch people who are bad”, Maisy offered. “What if the person you catch is a handsome movie star?” I probed. “Then I’ll kiss him and send him to jail,” she replied. Chicks… you’ve got to love them.
