August 4, 2013 – The girls and I enjoyed today’s magnificent weather by sitting in our lounge chairs and staring up at the clouds. It was relaxing until we got on the subject of song lyrics. Then, it became hilarious! Peaches started it all by singing God Bless America and ending with the line, “from the night with the light from a bulb”. We corrected her, but she didn’t believe us. Then, Sawyer sang Robert Palmer’s, “Might as well face it, you’re a duck with a glove”, and Peaches corrected her. Our laughter was sidesplitting by the time I sang Johnny Nash’s, “I can see clearly now, Lorraine is gone”. I love the sound of my friends laughing. What a great day!
