October 9, 2013 – Well, butter my butt and call me sweet cheeks! What a delightful surprise we had waiting for us when Mom let us out this morning. In each run was a huge, delicious pumpkin. Oooh, did ours taste good. We pecked at it all day and we’ve hardly made a dent. For kicks, Waffles, Betty, Tim and I had a seed spitting contest. Waffles nailed Wilma right in the back of the head. Hey, that’s what she gets for walking across the playing field! When it struck, she spun on her heals and shot me the nastiest look. It probably didn’t help that I was bent over in hysterics. Waffles immediately shouted, “Sorry, Wilma!” so she knew it wasn’t me. She’s a stand up kid, Waffles. When we were done, we went in search of our spewed seeds and ate them. They’re pumpkin seeds… No wasting allowed!
