October 30, 2013 – We have big plans for tonight! There’s a World Series game on TV and we’re having the entire flock over for a viewing party in our coop. We’ve been prepping for it all day. The popcorn is popped, the peanuts are warming, and we have a signature run of ice-cold beer in the cooler that we processed through the brewery last week just for this very occasion. It’s called, Dirt Dog Diamond’s Baseball Brew. I generally prefer the taste of a tropical Piña Colada myself, but this beer is quite satisfying to my “umbrella cocktail” palate. Sawyer is mixing up a crockpot of baby hotdogs and Charlotte and Addie are bringing over a big pot of spaghetti chili. They’re also bringing their knitting baskets. I don’t know how they’re going to concentrate on clacking those needles together when so much excitement will be unfolding on the screen, but to each their own. They’d better not ask to use my wings in order to wind the yarn. I need them for me. I’m an animated fan!
