January 7, 2014 – Seven days have passed since the New Year started. It’s time to put on my lab coat and start working on a few new recipes for The Happy Chicken Brewing Company. I’d really like to try my hand at making ice wine. We have plenty of frozen water nearby in the form of icicles. I’m giddy just thinking about it! I shared my thoughts with Peaches this morning who looked confused over my plans to branch out.
“Happy… isn’t there a sign hanging in the chicken yard that says NO WHINING?!”
“Yes…,” I replied, not sure what Peaches was getting at.
“HELLO?!! No whining means you cannot make wine on the premises!”
Oh, brother. I gave Peaches a complimentary plastic comb that I usually save for my fortune telling clients and sent her off to see Charlotte for enlightenment. I have icicles to harvest.
