January 22, 2014 – Charlotte and Addie distributed knit hats to everyone because daytime temperatures over the next two days are expected to drop below zero. I don’t even want to consider what nighttime conditions will be like. I think I’ll ask Mom if she has any sleeping bags in the attic! Ooh… maybe she’ll let me in the house and sleep in the bed with her! Wait… scratch that. The cat will be there. Not the nice baby one… the older feline, Sugar Plum, with the yellow fur and the glow-in-the-dark green eyes. Our coop is warm enough, thank you very much. I’ll just snuggle a little closer to Waffles and Sawyer. Those two are like ovens!
