February 12, 2014 – I filled my satchel full of peanuts and sat on the thinking log this morning soaking up the sun. The weather forecast is predicting another storm this week. As much as I love snow, I fear that we may never see green grass again. I know of course, that eventually the snow will melt and I’ll be dreaming of icicle spears in the sweltering heat of July, but for right now I allow myself to entertain the slightest doubt. Time to clear the old noggin with another run down the luge track! I have unquestionably found my winter sport. If only the suit wasn’t so tight! I’m feeling a little flat feathered from the compression and it’s not my finest look. Ooh… I almost forgot. Another seed catalog came in today. Swiss chard is on the cover. Commence drooling!
