March 25, 2014 – Sawyer was pouring over cookbooks when I crept up behind her and shrieked, “COWABUNGA!!” I wanted to see if I could scare an egg out of her – for scientific purposes, of course. Instead, she flipped a crockpot over her shoulder nearly missing my head! Good to know her reflexes are spot on! When she calmed down, she asked me if I knew how to make an egg roll. I replied, “If I had been successful in scaring you, the egg would have rolled on its own!” She glared disapprovingly at me with one wing on her hip. I don’t think we’re communicating well today. I should take her out for a nice Chinese dinner.
